Meet Amber

I was a very active athlete throughout my youth, and I continued with my favorite sport, cheerleading, into college as a participant and coach. By the end of my college career, I felt like I was missing something in my life. This is when I first found my passion for fitness, specifically Pilates mat.

After completing my B.S. in Education, I also completed group fitness instructor training through L.A. Fitness. However, once I began working as a full-time teacher, I fell away from my dedication to fitness. It wasn't until I started experiencing chronic, debilitating pain caused by moderate S-curve scoliosis in my 20s that I returned to Pilates. I started taking classes at Vida Sana, and soon enough, I was doing Pilates almost every day. This is why I decided to become a Pilates teacher — to help others dealing with pain and injuries or who just need something active to feel better.
